The ASTM A106 Grade B pipes have all the required specifications for standardized carbon steel pipes used for high temperature workability and high pressure bearing capacity. It is the most commonly used grade for commercial purposes, in various industrial applications. This carbon steel alloy is made up of some key components, chromium and molybdenum, which provides resistance to various corrosion and oxidation, it also resists pitting. Chromium oxide improves overall strength of the metal and work as a skin to the base iron. Parallel to which the molybdenum protects the metal from crevice corrosives, improves toughness and elastic limit and stays reluctant to pitting

The power plants, boilers, oil and gas refineries, ships, and petrochemical plants constantly need these ASTM A106 carbon steel seamless pipes. It is also used in construction, mineral slurry transmission, and other structural purposes. The ASTM A106 Grade B carbon steel seamless pipes, A53 Grade B, and API 5L B share similar chemical positioning and mechanical properties. They are made up of carbon steel and also share similar yield and tensile strength.

While the basic chemical composition of the ASTM A106 Grade B carbon steel seamless pipes consists of Carbon, molybdenum, nickel, and chromium oxide, which works as a protective layer for the metal, providing basic resistance from corrosion other chemical elements adding to the sustainability of the product. Along with this, the ASTM A106 possess mechanical properties like a minimum yield strength of psi 35000 (240 MPa) and basic tensile strength of psi 60000 (415 MPa) as mentioned above. All of these helps the product sustain Longer and provides durability over high-pressure usage and various temperature conditions.

LG pipes and tubes is one of the leading traders and stockiest of the ASTM A106 Grade B carbon steel seamless pipes along with its other stainless steel products. These pipes are generally built as per the standard specifications of the industry and possess higher durability with great quality. We provide necessary certification and all the products are duly tested and examined as per the said standards, leaving no scope for any faults and defects. We possess a huge inventory of all the required pipes and fittings at relatively inexpensive rates and provide best-in-class service delivery.
